TDE artist Isaiah Rashad has released another track for us as we await his mixtape Cilvia that supposedly is coming out before the end of the year. Not much time is left for that, but we are more than content with Isaiah if he continues to keep putting out quality music. “Brad Jordan” is the government name of legendary Houston rapper Scarface and this track does him justice. The production, courtesy of Danny Dee, has a mellow vibe and is certainly influenced by that slowed down Texas sound. Isaiah delivers as his midwest/southern twang (he is from Chattanooga) fits with the beat perfectly. Rashad continues to prove that he is worthy of the TDE roster spot he has earned for himself.

Joined by Isaiah is by the relatively unknown Michael Da Vinci, but he certainly assists the track properly with a strong guest verse. One of the most promising things to come out of this track is that Brad Jordan himself (Scarface) has expressed interest in being on an official remix of the song. That is huge co-sign for Isaiah and something we can look forward to.

In the meantime, we will be awaiting an official project from Rashad whether it is a mixtape or debut album. TDE boss Anthony Tiffith has proclaimed that there will be six new albums from the crew in 2014, so we like to think Isaiah will play a part in that announcement.

Listen to “Brad Jordan” below and let us know what you think!
