While Slaughtherhouse was pretty quiet as a group in 2013, it looks like they are gearing up for a big 2014 as they just announced they will be going on tour to start off the year. With the news, the group released this track “Party” co-produced by Just Blaze and Cardiak to give the fans something to look forward to. The song features the four lyricists getting aggressive over heavy guitar rifts and it appears to be a promotional single for their upcoming third album together.

Crooked I and Royce Da 5’9 particularly sound strong on the record as Crooked’s delivery meshes well with the production while Royce goes in on every lame and fake out there while paying homage to KRS One’s “9mm Goes Bang” on the bridge with a well-done interpretation. Joell Ortiz is also solid on the track, but things fall off toward the end as Joe Budden gives us a verse that is far from his best.

We should have more information about the group’s next album soon, but we do know that veteran Just Blaze is executive producing the project and that is a good sign. Listen to “Party” below and let us know what you think!
