A month or two ago, the news of legendary hip-hop group OutKast reuniting was merely a rumor. However, Rico Wade (Future’s older cousin/one-third of Organized Noize) confirmed that Andre 3000 and Big Boi will be reuniting at the Coachella Festival later this year in an interview with Stereogum. This is monumental news for OutKast fans and although the duo have not made any music together since 2007, this is certainly a step in the right direction.

Along with this news, Wade also announced that Andre 3000 will be featured on Future’s upcoming album Honest on a track tentatively titled “Benz Bitch”. Rico is certainly bringing his name back into the spotlight with these revelations, and the manner in which he described the Andre 3000/Future collab was music to our ears:

“Eventually he pulls out his iPhone and plays me a Future/Andre collaboration he produced called “Benz Bitch” that’s earmarked for Honest. It’s yet another side of Future and one rarely heard: brainy, libidinous space-age funk mined from Stankonia’s dankest caverns, an homage to his Dungeon Family roots.”

If this is truly the case, Honest can’t arrive soon enough. It also appears that Future may get the privilege of rocking the Coachella stage with OutKast to perform this song and any unknown treasures we are not yet aware of.
