Diplo has had his fair share of high profile production spots recently working with the likes of Mike Posner, RiFF RAFF, and Action Bronson. The LA-based producer/DJ/founder of the Mad Decent record label released an EP last fall titled Revolution, which featured all of the aforementioned artists and many more. Diplo has put out the visuals for the title track of the project “Revolution” featuring Faustix & Imanos and Kai (who provide strong vocals). The standout electronic/dubstep influenced song is powered by the theme of self-empowerment and the music video is as cinematic as you would expect. Sometimes you have to be in a certain mood or setting to appreciate the Moombahton style of Diplo’s production, but “Revolution” is certainly a hit record that should continue Diplo’s strong run of music going into 2014.

The visuals behind this trick seem to be disjointed, but they are so stunning and vivid in quality that it brings the music to life. From boxers to images of nightclub ravers, the video is powerful and fast-paced; fitting with the lyrics and production behind a song so large. The track is stimulating to say the least and the creativity on display is apparent.

Watch the “Revolution” music video below (premiered by Revolt TV) and let us know what you think. We will be looking forward to more music from Diplo in 2014.
