We were granted a sneak peek into the material of this LA Leakers mixtape 2014 Draft Picks when the Audio Push record “Juveniles” (ft. Logic) came out several days ago. Based off the strength of that track, it became a priority to listen to the entire project as soon as it came out and luckily that time has come. 2014 Draft Picks is hosted by DJ Sourmilk and Justin Credible, (questionable names I know), who recruited some of the hottest rising stars in hip-hop to contribute new verses to the project. There is a ton of variety on the mixtape and the exclusive material from these young artists does not disappoint.

From Casey Veggies revisiting material on Customized Greatly Pt. 3 with “Swag Worth A Mil Pt. 2” to the smooth record “Would You Ever Love” by up and comer Luke Christopher, the quality on here is very impressive for a compilation mixtape. While the LA Leakers mainly promote artists from the West Coast, they do not ignore the East as artists like Troy Ave and Black Cobain come through with strong appearances. Most of these tracks have radio friendly vibes to them, so you have to give props to DJ Sourmilk/Justin Credible for bringing this group of artists together and giving them some extra exposure.

You can listen to the LA Leakers 2014 Draft Picks project below. Let us know what you think and keep your ears open for quick promotional appearances from artists such as Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, and Drake.
